He's back... okay?

Two long drives across Washington in the darkness, two days working hard on the Appleseed in the Lewiston, Idaho area and being evaluated on my progress towards full Instructor (Red Cap). Two days of meeting great people, seeing some very fine shooting and finally an Appleseed with a three hundred yard targets for the better shooters to engage and brag over. So I have to open my library and get to work and I am falling behind but if I ever get organized and on schedule I may frighten myself with the stranger. Although I didn't get to shoot (one almost never does when one is teaching) I have enriched my life and will write more about it as I mull it over in my mind.

I did use my video on the digital camera, and will share the clip, just because I really love the people in the picture; real wonderful Americans, doing it the best they can and sharing their bounty. May we all be so blest, and for my my blogging buddies - I thought of the beautiful pictures you could take in Idaho, the miles of highway and the big trucks not hauling big tanks, and the awesome starry skies over the dark plains and mountains, you know what I am talking about - the beauty of America.
