Not that critical, but the motorcycle won...

Today I went riding after Church, the Sun was out, the sky so blue, Mount Rainier on the East, the Olympics in their ragged snow covered glory in the West and Earl on the Trusty Triumph. I mapped my route, for the dates from 21 June to 30 July, based on where I want to be and such, it is more flexible than it should be, but you know things happen

Tickled to see NY on there

Some folks think the Empire State should be on everyone's list of places to visit before they die. I have immigrant ancestors that married in Vernon, New York before setting off to settle in Waukesau County, Wisconsin. I have jumped into Buffalo for the 82nd Airborne Convention, visited Niagara Falls, and Fort Niagara, my father flew us into LaGuardia Airport when I was about 6th grade. Jumped into and did Winter training in Fort Drum and have always had a love affair with the French and Indian War, Roger's Rangers, Montcalm and Fort Ticonderoga. Visiting a working dairy farm with real people from New York is too cool, way too cool.
