As you can see, RETIREMENT works wonders on my life, the virtual one anyway. I went off to the doctor's, he removed five of the seven staples and we waited for the facts on fax about my biopsy... I did get to play with Penderson (a Boston Terrier) and a tennis ball. The report is that the ugly growth was skin cancer (and I don't do tanning saloons) and that the doctor had clean skin cut all around to within 0.2 cm, which worried him, but I told him that was a good knife. I am okay, but he wants to remove the last two staples next week and sometime in the future the remainder of his fears of cancer remaining in my skin... I think he should wait for evidence.
Well, since I was disturbed about getting old and falling apart and such, I rode the motorcycle in the sunshine, grinning like a fool, and went to find lovely ladies to wait upon my every whim -- okay, I got a hair cut, and made her leave the eyebrows alone. Then rode my motorcycle home smiling some more. House is dark and quiet, but I find my wife returned to sleep - she isn't feeling well. Will not disturb, later.

That's good news Earl! And yes, ride... ride... ride!
Good to read the edges removed were clear of mutating cells. Sounds like he got it all removed. From what you describe, this is the nastier form of skin cancer?
The Northwest sunshine made the news with a school giving students a sunshine day off yesterday. Good for you in getting out and enjoying the day!
