Okay, I saw AVATAR, wonderful movie beautiful and entertaining and just enough truth to make you believe and enough fantasy to make you think there is a Happily Ever After.
And today, on my own DVD, I saw DISTRICT 9. Which is a cynical adult view of the same story - aliens and humans don't mix and the reason why. Awesome, ugly and rocks from end to end. It had to be made around South Africa to tell the tale so much faster, I will have to see it a few more times to get it right, oh, enough fantasy to think there will be a Happy Ever (after three years and a bit) - shouldn't have a sequel but someone silly might try and make one. Really like the movie, don't think I will let my wife see it, only happy blood and gore in our entertainment - I will call this my education in human relations with alien species - having seen Europeans conquer and rule America, and the Chinese soon to be in charge I will always feel sorry for the alien races that contact Earthlings. District 9, not really a horror flick, but a sad episode in History of a long line of such totally logical bad behavior.
