I haven't read the legislation, I understand everyone is going to add and delete portions to the Health Care Bill back in the Senate and some final mess will be just so wonderful that one will have trouble finding the country that wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. But I do know now, for sure (I might have been confused by the fine job the politicians did in Vietnam) that I cannot trust the politicians when they leave the state for Washington, DC. People are ending their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan and this is the Congress that makes that possible, and you think they can fix Health Care? They haven't a clue.
If I were King of this country, I would have gotten the Surgeon General and army of doctors, nurses, and aides - built government hospitals and clinics and supplied Health Care. It would be cheaper, really.

I like your thinking. I wrote to my legislators. They ignored me and in fact had the nerve to write back to me about how glorious the new legislation is and how happy they were to vote for it....should there still be elections this fall, I will be voting too, and they won't like the result.
