When I get real tired call it wiped out...

I didn't write about the Tail of the Dragon! I rode it, I took pictures. And for all the talk about it while at Yellowstone Park, June 22-24, it was closed for clearing out a landslide or something. There was one of those electronic highway warning signs saying it was now open. So I looked at my Google map, found a local tourist information rest stop and picked up some cool maps and rode into the Appliachian mountains. Until I got to the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort area, I thought I had already gotten on it. But no, it was still just ahead of me and then I crossed the stateline and it began. A real great place to learn to pay attention and wear ones love of leaning out... WOW! Even laying it down after I took off my leathers (of course) didn't make me want to stop, I was stopped when it lay over, gravel under the tires. Trusty Triumph and I are just fine, and I was sure I had written something up at McDonalds about it, but only find the Facebook stuff. So. just another marker on my trip, I have to look up Wolcott, Indiana, Denver Colorado and it would be cool to know where a truck driving farmer was on the Interstate while I cross the country - but it is time for coffee and definitely time for home, I have been asked to come to an Appleseed in Castle Rock,WA July 31- August 1, and rumor has it I can sleep better at home than on picnic benches at highway rest stops. Could be right.

The Appleseed in WA sounds like fun. Continue to have a safe trip home, Earl. (Nanette)

Earl: this next week would be a good time to visit our farms. We are half-way between Indianapolis and Chicago on I-65. The west place is just a 1/2 mile off the 201 Exit on I-65. Hope we get to see you.

All The Best,
Frank W. James
