What is that title of that special position?

You know, the guy or gal that decides where to interrupt your show/movie/entertainment for the opportunity to change your mind about buying something you decided you don't need - already. What is the official title? Also who is counting how much real news is reported, some of the news is a sneaky way to sell you a program you didn't know you wanted to see - a commercial. How much money could you have, if you never bought a television for cable, satellite or antenna? Really, where would your life be if you turned it all off and only used the internet and DVDs? Someone out there should write a book about it. And offer it on Kindle.
