Back on the road again, returning to normal...

Well, can't let the recliner win can I? I go out the door and down the road and onward, ever onward. I pass a marker for one of the layover points on the Oregon Trail, wondering what they thought of having gotten through the Cascades and other mountain to be in a forest of giant trees and millions of spiders. I also went by the Grey Hound rescue ranch - and was greeted by the current pack, they want me to run so they can race down the fence line laughing at me in my slow old man's shuffle. One day, one day we will visit that again. It is a good fast walk, waved at my wife driving off to work. Home to lunch and clean up, rifles this afternoon, then start the repacking of the car for the next Appleseed. As I finished the walk I spotted a green GI laying on the shoulder and picked him up, will use him as my Avatar on facebook. I am finally reading Terry Prachett's first disc world, and wondering why I haven't before - I like it.
