Don't have anything to offer about the end of Civilization...

But I ran across the invasion and conquest of portions of the United States of America, which also ties in with the President's people attacking the law enforcement agencies, and state government of Arizona for trying to do their job, since the United States seems to be negotiating a peace treaty with the invading forces. I wonder what an oath means now, I remember taking one every time I enlisted in the military, it still means something to me.
