The American is on, and doesn't take a pile of money, 3D glasses nor thought to see. It is a very nice almost beautiful movie about lonely, fear, fools and friends. Too much of the first three and certainly less than I on the last. It is rated R, deserves most of that rating, has no humor, lovely European accents and lusty women. Since I don't know much about that business I thought it should have a disclaimer about not trying any of this at home, but that would have been too funny. More sex than I can handle at my advanced age, but still discounting that I thought the movie was beautiful and very sad, so it worked. It is not a date movie, but I don't go to those anyway.
Okay, one point of hidden humor, you can order an American in most coffee shops in Europe.
