When did 'adult' become the adjective for ... stuff your Mama wouldn't approve of?

Just finished the Dance With Dragons yesterday, and cut my yard. But I was saddened, the story is well written, keeps you dragged into the mess, but it is getting predictable -- OH! that can't be good. Am I going to wait for the next book? Sure. Am I going to care if it never gets written, NO... it is only a story, a big story, with lots of people that you begin to grow fond of, then they kill them, or make them Zombies or something... I hope, just because I don't need to wish ill of anyone, that George R. R. Martin lives to finish this epic, or that he has a better writer waiting to cover it all and bring it to a close after he is gone. What is Rowlings doing now that Harry Potter finished? No, she isn't the one I would choose to finish this, I never continued to read the next Harry Potter book, and I think I read all of Nero Wolfe's books, Donald Hamilton's Matt Helm and such.

Seems that the Media is going to support the White House and the Senate in that the Republicans are the problem on the Debt Ceiling being raised. I noticed that no one being worried about Muslim terrorists, again, that the Weapons of Mass destruction are getting rolled out. The problem with the Debt Ceiling is that the Federal Government doesn't need to spend to that limit! The current and Bush's Treasury Secretary say that terrible things are going to happen if we don't raise the limit. That should be an indicator that the same folks that gave all those dollars away under two different Presidents, to the same RICH bankers and Money Laundrying folks, are going to do it again.

What happens to the banks if they can't loan money out at higher rates? for cars and mortgages? Well, they will have to reduce their rate to compete. What happens if they can't borrow cheap money from the Federal Reserve to loan at higher rates to the chump consumers that watch Main Stream Media for the next CRISIS? Well, they might have to offer better savings and investment rates on Savings and Investment items (bonds). Right now it is a closed field, big fat banks loan to big fat banks, and skin the little consumers (credit cards anyone?) as the Credit Unions start to look like banks and loan sharks as they get bigger, they will start to look like the Big Banks, and the Big Banks will want to swallow and rob them like they did the Savings and Loan Associations during Reagan's rule.

Now the Main Stream Media and the professional politicians want to scare the little consumer but big voter into thinking that all this must be done or the end of the World is coming, December 2012 according to the Discover/History Channel. Just like the gasoline price, you will pay or stop driving so much, ask the Oil Companies if they noticed the change in driving patterns? It certainly affected how much we go out, drive and what we buy. Not as much as it could have since I am almost certainly only worried about looking sexier.... NOT.

About the 'adult' beverages, 'adult' entertainment, 'adult' language, 'adult' situations... well, I have for years described the Saga of Ice and Fire as an adult fantasy... but then I realized that I would have been supporting 'adult' stupidity for people to go read this, since I liked and recommended it. There is the worst language; fantasy profane, vulgar and obscene, and not enough GOOD people fighting evil. Sure enough, even the fictional Religious folks are as wrong as the criminal thugs and rulers running around. Perhaps too much of the author's opinion of the Sinful Nature of Man and the complete idiocy of thinking gods care about anything less than themselves comes through too easily. Yeah, I don't have to read another book by this Author in this series, if he writes some before he dies I will. I also don't have to worry about the Debt Crisis in Washington, DC and well covered by FOX, ABC and MSNBC and other people trying to promote my longer sexual activity with three different pills for potency, or my Gold investments. Remembering that some Chinese character for the Greek Chaos is also one of Opportunity... who makes this stuff up? Oh, me.

OKay, it isn't the transmission! Yeah!,

Bent link on chain, sprocket shot, needs some other parts and the thirty thousand mile service. I still won't be a hot property, but back on the road in about a week and a half. Don't ask about how to pay for it, food always comes first around here - and my wife isn't going to approve a raise in our Debt Ceiling, she expects me to die before I have everything paid off... but I am so close. Well, think I will go joyously jog, the Lord loves me, even if the government doesn't.

Do you know your credit score?

I hear the advertisements all the time, that I need to know my credit score, that I need to improve my credit score and it has consequences if I don't. Hmm, but I don't care about my credit score - really. Life is not about BORROWING MONEY! Yes, I do borrow, yes I do pay it back. No, I can wait for the extra big home with the live in maid, six car garage and people trying to kill me (movie plot for Batman?)

So we have a government, that until recently didn't care about its Credit Score, they don't even worry about showing a profit. Number of people that can read at High School level is dropping - FAIL (oops!, that would be judgmental wouldn't it?). We have an agency that took tactical Nuclear weapons and made sure they were sold to terrorists so they could find the fat cats to prosecute -- FAIL (okay, it was only thousands of semi-automatic weapons to drug cartels to prove that there was a market for illegal activity in Mexico). This government that can't shoot straight, operate safe and legally needs to crash.

Where is it written that government illegal and unsafe activity will not be stopped nor prosecuted to the full extent of the law? You too can be a drunk or under the influenced driver if you are a Congressman, you can engage in unwanted sexual acts (yes, that is rape) if you are a Congressperson. What you can't do is be brave enough to make tough choices on spending, taxing and telling the truth. Seems that too many Congresspeople and Senators are cowards.

The mess in Washington DC isn't going to get better by raising the debt limit, automatically they would spend until they have to raise it again. The criminal activities of the different agencies would be explained as Homeland Security, or too secret to let us live.. I am sure that the two primary political parties will soon melt down, when it is the POWER of the Federal government that needs to be dismantled. The normal threats came out from my Democratic Party Senator, I live in the State of Washington, both Senators are women and Democrats, the governor is a woman and a Democrat and a former Governor is going to represent the US to China.

When the President got tough and said nothing on Prime time about the CRISIS, caused by his lack of leadership and mismanagement (he doesn't have to fill positions and can quietly close inefficient agencies - every day of the week, he is the chief executive - he can bring all the troops home from Afghanistan), I received my email from my Senator, and I responded and told her what needs to disappear, TSA, BAFTE, and some other things. They won't listen, I don't have millions for their political campaigns, nor do I need millions from them to make my life beautiful.

It is true, I spend too much time away from reality...

I should be jogging right now, only have to put my shoes on,,, and finish my coffee and fight off all the reasons that I won't do well if I start now.

I had to take a picture and then modify it so no one can use facial recognition on me, then post it and take off.

I woke at 0745 this morning, Weight 226.4 pounds, I don't really worry about the BP any longer, most of mine is because I see stupidity daily - the President, the Congress, the Media -- sigh, without television I would be so mellow.

I don't take my hand weights today, I did yesterday and really worked hard in a shorter period of time and distance, today I was going to work well in a longer period and distance. It was better to feel good about the form, the stretch and the run (almost real running, for an old man). I enjoyed the time, the feeling, the knowing it was a pretty good run, not a tottering jog, I was happy.

So I am back.

This morning's blood pressure check 146/81 Hr 38
three minutes after the run or so 126/77 Hr 56

The jog was 1 hour, 4 minutes, 8 seconds. Max Heart Rate 150, Average Hr 112,
Above the Zone (110-125) 5 minutes 34 seconds, Below the Zone 24 minutes 20 seconds, INZONE! 34 minutes 15 seconds total estimated calorie burn 829 and I have to wash those jogging clothes... fast!

Run more, medicate less and no television nor talk radio while jogging gently.

Once I bought US Savings Stamps...

Remember the Green Stamps? Okay, maybe some of y'all are too young, but they are gone. I even bought US Saving Stamps in school when I was in elementary, but I am pretty sure they are gone, too. No, there wasn't still a war on, except the Cold War.

When I joined the Army, I had a small student loan to repay, and I wanted to invest in my future. So, I bought a twenty-five dollar US Savings Bond monthly and sent Twenty-five dollars to the bank that lent me money for college. I was only making about ninety dollars a month as a Private First Class. When the loan was paid off, I told the bank to stick it in my Savings Account, so I would have some money when I returned home - I spent a lot of time overseas. I kept automatic deposits going and buying Savings bonds for years. The Savings bonds became down payments on homes and stuff for emergency and such. Only taxed upon cashing them in, no problem. I was so successful at this I recommended that kind of a small change in budgeting for the future for everyone, save every payday, for the long term. I became no longer in favor of US Savings bonds when President Clinton and the Treasury changed some things about them.

So I have been not recommending US Government Bonds for years now, I would rather throw my money into Lottery tickets, that is how far down the scale they are for my investments. Without the current Debt Ceiling Crisis, I just don't invest in government promises of repayment - directly! Remember that the ENTIRE Social Security Trust Fund is Government IOUs. They took all the FICA tax money and spent it wildly, propping up Egypt and Pakistan (they are such great friends of ours). Yes, I know the government has also used the money for gun running to Mexico and other strange things. I guess I am so disgusted with the government, that I am too hard on them, expecting them to do a good job. I did see Charlie Wilson's War - that was the problem and is still not resolved...

In the end, watching the picture taking opportunity on Saturday in the White House - I noticed the guys who can't get the job done. And they didn't invite God inside to cool their hearts, still their passions and give them guidance. They are going it alone, and taking us all with them.

The Markets should crash on Monday, just for fun, anyone watching the Markets for figuring out how the economy is doing - doesn't understand markets.

Just a Cool Green...

This is probably the best of Summer, in the Great NorthWest, since there is Sun, BLUE sky, and Lots of shades of green, and they provide lots of shade. Turning on the morning news programs would have told me about the terrible heat wave everywhere in America - the News roooms are all air conditioned, and the makeup doesn't run with perspiration unless the reporter has to go outside for local color. I have to put a sweatshirt on, the windows are open and cool breezes just whisper by. It isn't really cool enough for the sweatshirt but I had my morning gruel and the blood circulation is centered around digestion for about an hour. I could move it to muscles if I were to get out of the recliner, but that will come later.

Such a weak man, no discipline.... sigh... aren't we all?

I was lost, actually finding my way, in A Storm of Swords all of yesterday. I kept telling myself I had time in the near future to stop, close the book and get out and jog - I did. But I didn't stop close the book and go jog. The book just grabbed hold and wouldn't let go, I was up until 0100 finishing it. Now, one day away from the exercises and jogging is probably good for me. My weight and blood pressure are better today than yesterday. Maybe I need to stop typing and go jog to get it done today? My wife is shaking her head at what time it is that we are starting today - 0930 PDT.

I listen and hear that there is a moral decline in America, we were so much better long ago and far away. I think I am much stronger morally now, than I was thirty or forty years ago - but I ran farther daily, was busy at work and read and studied more than I do now, and I was building my family's foundation and future by counting pennies and investing for our IRAs and such. I was prettier, too. NOT! I didn't use a credit card as much as I do now but I had one. I played games with the guys, too. I don't really now.

I am playing two virtual games on facebook, FarmVille and Empires & Allies. Both games are for the profit of the creators of the game - both of them have silly stuff and both of them want you to find your friends and play together - one would hope I was old enough to have friends and had friends that would play along. I have a few.

Virtual toys pack away so well, just go to another blog site or ask Google for something and the toys are gone until you return. One of the ways to achieve greater success in farming or building empires is to whip out the credit card and buy your way to the top, get the good stuff right now. Instant Gratification! Yeah! That is the American way now, isn't it? Since I like to play games I try to cooperate with my allies or neighbors, but not to beat them up with a hundred messages about how something wonderful has happened in my life (facebook, anyone?). In the end I want to do well without buying anything. Which is another level of play, isn't it? I can't see spending real money for virtual Harrier Jump Jets.

I have to get my political message in here - before I breakfast and jog and start reading A Feast for Crows --- the ruling elite think they are playing a real game with virtual dollars - and that it doesn't really cost anything. But it does, just like using that credit card for whims... you have to pay the tab, tax and interest later when no longer under the spell of the moment. When you wake up to reality. Hmm, I ordered A Feast for Crows from Amazon.com on 6 June, 2005. Takes George R. R. Martin a long time to get me to re-read all those books for his next one. D-Day, plus seventy-one years... you do figure all dates from D-Day, don't you?

They really do love us and are going to take care of us...

I have been trying to get leaner and sexier and just the really cool guy with the kindle (the only male image on television smarter than the female in the same commercial). But although I really turned it on and had a great jog yesterday - by not looking at my Heart Rate monitor and just running - although I edged and mowed the front yard and burned more real calories - my wife bought ice cream and fixed me a bowl of it and poured chocolate syrup over it. She does love me, or wants that life insurance money sooner... Nah, she loves me, if you knew who I really am, you would have to know my wife has to have a ton of dreams and two tons of forgiveness to stick around me long.

But isn't that just like our elected and selected representatives in Washington, DC? They want to be loved, tell us we are doing a great job, and be chosen to do this again and again and again.... Obama hates successful people that don't pay their fare share, the TEA party'ers want restraint and freedoms (yeah, I thought about that when I wrote it), and the normal politicians don't know they aren't telling you the truth nor realize that you don't want all the stuff they want to give you for your protections. They love us and are getting us something sweet, and potentially harmful if consumed in massive amounts. Just like my wife.

I want the wars over, they don't make more sense than the Vietnam one, and if you aren't going to fight it to victory - you are wasting your time and effort. That includes the War on Poverty, Drugs, Terror. I don't want Poverty, Drugs or Terror to be legal -- nope, I just want to stop having special police forces that assume godlike powers in the name of excess will work best. Stopping all those 'wars' will free up lots of money. So when we have a REAL war, and decide to declare it and fight it until victory, we can get back to being a better nation again. Hmm, I guess it won't happen, better eat the rest of that ice cream today and go buy another couple of gallons for my temporary satisfaction... isn't that what our government is about to do? More temporary satisfaction because we just all want to be loved, and don't you really like this flavor? Try this one... rumor has it the Amish are doing alright.

Woke up at 0505 this morning...

Checked my games, dressed for the jog, drank coffee, jogged gently, shaved showered and dressed for success in church today. My wife did make a crack about taking a picture of me, it wouldn't have been for publication. She admits she never thought I would ever get so fat... I was so lean and mean when she met me. Ah, those days are gone. Although, looking at the President and some of his rascally Republican opponents, being lean doesn't mean I would be competent or fair or honest. I guess I can live with me, much better than I could live with those that can't do the job they sought. Are you carrying today? are you caring today? Be good for the best of reasons, they haven't passed a law taxing it nor prohibiting it.

Are they going to sell out?

Sure they are. So Harry Potter, that fine set of books found by children and spread more by word of mouth is done, wait for the boxed BlueRay set. I did love the books, hated that the movie didn't have the characters in my mind on the screen. Hmm, never watched another Harry Potter movie after I learned how to play that game.

So my brother tells me they are advertising A Dance with Dragons everywhere. Not where I am or on my Korean cable, I am still getting the medicine snake-oil shows on being young, sexy and mobile... the Scooter Chair? Actually, one of the reason George R. R. Martin hadn't been finishing his epic of Ice and Fire, is that he has been watching the production of the HBO movie (made in Middle Earth New Zealand, of course). I won't be watching it, maybe ever, the series isn't finished and I don't want the characters in my mind to dissolve in the foolishness of digital production.

Picnic today, and a low pressure cell is bringing lots of rain, sigh. I will go jog and maybe by the time I return Congress and the gangsta President (I will cut off your Social Security and Medicare!) will have a deal. No, that would be a very long jog, maybe the ladies of the houses will decide if we are having a picnic at all by the time I return. Better make this a quick one! Love you, laugh at Washington, DC, and remember these are exactly the same stupid people trying the same stupid cures for a life of excess - we need more monastic retreats to clean the body, mind and spirit. Love in the Lord. Amen.

Isn't what is not happening in Washington, DC, exciting?

I am just glued to the television wondering what will happen next, there just isn't enough money, the President hates old worthless people without tons of money to contribute to his re-election campaign... but maybe he was thinking that all that recent money he has been gathering should be TAXED!, at highest level. Then all he has to do is tell America, he isn't buying ads, but giving it all to the Federal government to get them through this crisis. Does news know anything that isn't a crisis? Breathless excitement, action word choice, and dramatic photofootage... otherwise one wouldn't wait to find out about investing in gold (buy ammunition!).

Actually, Amazon.com has come through, and I have A Dance with Dragons, by George R. R. Martin to read, after I finish Clash of Kings, Storm of Swords, and a Feast for Crows. I did find my local library has copies of it to borrow, but I own mine now. If I can break away from my reading long enough to jog and other exercise, and visit the Credit Union today (before my credit rating is downgraded with America's by Moodys). So much to do in these last days... so much to do. Don't forget to pray for better government and bigger Lotto winnings.

The Trusty Triumph is back, but out of service...

That is okay, I can get it fixed and back on the road, before the Federal Government completely collapses. If the FICA tax money from employers and employees went straight into a bank account and was used to pay Social Security checks, without being held hostage by the President and the Treasury Secretary, there would be little problem in the world. None that I KNOW about...

My only current problem is the motorcycle and getting out to jog today, I am such a little man with tiny problems.

IMF, a really bad word in Korean...

Somewhere in the later 1990s Korea came under attack in that bankers were calling in their loans, the government was about to crumble and what to do... Well, the IMF saved them, or so the story goes from the Rich Industrialized Countries that had money to lend... The Koreans said they sold their gold, worked twice as hard, made everything last twice as long and paid off the loans so they could stand up and be counted...

There is one truth, there is no IMF bail out for America, O'Reilly and Rowe have decided that only one more raising of the debt ceiling will solve the current problem... which is the problem.

THERE ISN'T ANY MONEY AND MOSTLY IT WILL BE ACCOUNTING TRICKS, because you the citizen (whose children and grandchildren are being sold into slavery to pay back the Godless Communists of China and other investors) aren't smart enough to understand without MSM pushing their advertisers' point of view. Duh, that is so stupid it could only come from Washington DC. Buy more ammunition, breeding rabbits and hens and farm the lawn in the back of the house. It is all coming down, and fools think it is only about which party has the Presidency and the Congress - it has gotten to the point the Continental Congress and the first Confederation of States had, no money no plan. Let it collapse.

Going to get so much faster...

Yep, isn't that what we all want? To get there faster, to reach out and touch someone, faster? I know, one prepares the fields, plants the seeds and then immediately harvests - at least on FarmVille, you can even get Turbo machinery and do it in one click! Sigh, I am ready to get out the door and gently jog, in the beautiful NorthWest weather and I am not going faster... just hoping to last for the duration of the jog.

I own a Kindle, and have lots of books on it (free - I haven't changed that much and I am on a FIXED income with wild spending sprees) but I have started George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones - again. I have to read all four of the series before I go out and get a copy of A Dance with Dragons: A Song of Ice and Fire: Book Five, his latest. I am still betting that he will die before the series is finished, not that I wish him anything except the best - but Robert Jordan and others left epic works undone, they should have written faster? Amazon.com reminded me I had requested that title long ago, and if I wanted it to submit the cart... so I did, before the 1 percent National sales tax goes into effect.

Kind of like my idea to improve Washington, DC and the national government - let's raise the debt ceiling to 15 Trillion-trillion real dollars and pretend that someday we will be able to pay that off - as soon as we have those mineral rights from Avatar. That ought to bring down the United States of America - fast enough. I have heard that speed kills.

Dreaming again, medicines are ebbing...

How can one tell that medications have caused significant change, well, hopefully because the illness and pain are gone while you heal. But for those medications that you must take for the remainder of one's life - you will never know until their effect recedes from you, and that could be awhile. Speaking of which, I had best take this mornings medications. With coffee of course.

I gave my opinion on John Ross's "Unintended Consequences", I called it a sad book, but it does very well outlining the destruction of the 2nd Amendment as an indication of the total collapse of Constitutional government. My objections were of the types of actions by the resistance groups to the bad guys and gals in Government. I do believe that only very moral people win Revolutions and fight wars, criminals and sleazeballs don't... just saying. I was shocked at the cost of the publication now, John Ross had a blog that was worth visiting when he posted, I don't agree with much of what he does, but he presented it well in his posts. Along with my shock was I wondered what happened to the copy that once was in the Library at McNeil Island Corrections Center? One of the first things to go was the book cover, it called to the twisted criminal mastermind, and was quickly gone. Would I read it again, no. It does get a kind of cult following in the American gun world so I expect that the price isn't coming down, and I wonder if John Ross ever thought of re-publishing it, or even re-writing it.

I had two memorable dreams - most just disappear. One I actually knifed someone, don't recall the reason, but the penetration and such was very clear and kept, sigh. And the other was of foolishness with women, and I am so afraid of them that is one of those never would have happened that way... never. How does the mind go so wild when I am such a not very normal guy?

Things you just know...

My wife returned from touring Seattle and sharing that with her friend, and knew that I must be out jogging when her friend wanted to say good-bye to me. When I returned from my jog I knew my wife had returned and was home although I didn't see her. Sixth sense?

I know that those fools in Washington, all of them well meaning are going to compromise and raise the debt ceiling, they will not cut all the spending they need to, they will not change the tax code to a simple postcard return with NO LOOP HOLES to slide their buddies through. I know this because they have been leaving evidence everywhere, in every sentence they speak. President Obama is running a completely transparent administration - he is not a Leader (everyone can see that), his Justice Department will break the law and encourage illegal gun sales to MEXICO, he will be caught in many fabrications and has only threats to get what he wants done. That is completely transparent - everyone can see a Chicago gangster or politician (is there a difference?) when they watch the President in action.

Oh, about how we knew. No one uses the front door on our suburban home - except the jogger going out and he will leave the top bolt lock unlocked when he goes. My wife will not leave any lock unlocked between her and the fearsome outside. So, when she had to unlock only one lock, she knew I was jogging, when I had to unlock two locks I knew she had returned.

No church buildings... wonder why?

I am on facebook, and I play FarmVille and Empires & Allies, I confess, I am such a kid. But I won't spend money on it, which likely disappoints the creators. My game becomes building the farms and Empires that Earl can get by planning, saving, and cooperating with my neighbors and allies. Something for our government to pay attention to there, as they prepare to raise the debt limit. And NO they don't have to raise the limit, they just need to close much of their foolishness down permanently. Pull back all the adventurism in nation building and be much better people and leaders.

I saw a brief announcement from the President about his last meeting with the leaders of Congress - he shows signs of NO LEADERSHIP and mentions how far apart the leaders are. Since he isn't on my street, neighborhood and on my page of life -- he might be really far from me, how could he think that the people in Congress are close on anything? Unreasonable expectations of his way being the right way.

Well, back to no church buildings, the game will give you libraries, office buildings, general stores, I have castles and keeps, and ruins (which look suspiciously like old abandoned churches from long ago - after the Vikings), I get barns and stables, pig pens and winery, lots of things for gardens and good looking, but they aren't offering the ability to build a Little Brown Church, Cathedral or raise a mosque or temple... hmm, no virtual religion is a good thing - only a real God will work for all that we have done so poorly.

See that tank over there?

The evening of the third of July the neighbor boys (30+) blew something up LOUDLY!, and my wife became afraid. I asked if she wanted me to shoot them, she said no. But her sleep was troubled the remainder of the night. The Fourth just continued the beautiful weekend weather and firecrackers were everywhere, we went to church friends' to watch the valley of Orting light up, and all the ridges around.

Two bottles of Crown Royal in velvet bags with the appetizers on the table, all former military retirees from various conflicts and one says see that tank over there my sister lives right below it. I kept looking for the Sherman, or T-54, Wrong! it was a water tank he was talking about. Most of the men in that conversation had been looking for armored, tread layers with a gun. The church ladies had some chilly, fruity, alcoholic drinks, and a very good time. One lady told me my wife was 'Outlandish', and I said no, that would be a bad thing, that my wife was 'the life of the party' - which was a better concept. She was. I do love translation, so much always gets lost.

Games of toss something were played, there were teenage boys to set off their fireworks, and about every hour one of those loud sudden booms would go off and I would cringe... in the early going. Late night discussion was about why America isn't working now, three generations and I was from the middle of the three. The other two actually want to discuss it more later - I see no solution, the country is in denial and won't heal itself.

I spent an interesting Rest Day on the 5th of July, put the ARTS channel on, and ignored most of what was on, and loved no commercial interruption. I have to get back to closing out and living on... take care out there

Happy Birthday, Old fella, America...

Why would we expect our country to be stronger, faster, sexier, hotter, wealthier and so much better than it was on 4 July, 1776? It did mature, seven more years of baby steps and diapers then it had its Liberty. Started stretching out, building muscles, reactions, relationships. The country seems to have more life than its citizens enjoy, longer, and about as healthy, consumption and storage of junk and fat seems to be about the same. Mental problems like thinking it is divinely inspired, destined to greatness and above the common little countries. Fooling itself and us about how great we are as a people and a country, not doing the exercises, not budgeting, not investing in the future... why should we think this country and the stuff it was founded upon would make it through the Centuries?

Do countries just get old and die? Will this one follow their lead? When the citizens forget what the Declaration of Independence was about, will Uncle Sam pass the way of Tinkerbell, when we stopped believing in fairies?

America is in much better shape than ol' man Dungey, don't see it groan and grunt when it has to get out there and fight, clean up the messes and fix the plumbing. People still accept its checks, although recent publications from the government do say that there may be no money soon. My wife kept her copy. The Legislature is in denial of the excess weight it stumbles around with, stunting growth and opportunity, the President provides little motivation and no leadership for dynamic change and improvement - must be watching too many infomercials and thinks throwing money will solve the countries need for sexier abs.

The Declaration of Independence, what an idea - that citizens could and should list their reasons and separate and stand up --- independently from chains of servitude. Happy Birthday, America, although maybe you are too old to appreciate what you once were, I feel Historian enough to have missed all your best. Death by Recliner is no way for America to go out. I am jogging gently again tomorrow and working on balancing my books and budget, join me?

How do you tell how old you are?

It was suggested yesterday that you count the number of grunts and groans and aches you have as you move from resting on the grass to getting up for the next game you are playing for the honor of your team. It was church games yesterday in the park, lots of food and games - I started on the tug of war, which we won the first two. Then they changed the rules, we would find that often - if we were too successful the staff would change the rules. The Sun shined, the breeze blew and we did have a great time, lots of good food.

I had started my day normally, jogging a little over an hour to get the juices flowing, then cleaned up and dressed for the games, we had to wear white for that was our team color. My T-shirt said, I am Retired this is as dressed up as I get, or something like that. Before anything happened I was paying a dollar to park in the park that my taxes have paid for for years, and years of living here. But as a Senior, over 62, I only paid one dollar, every other car had to pay three.

My team played at kickball, lost when they changed the rules, then the old men's relay. I liked running the relay - would have been happier if I hadn't been hauling so much excess. Still I am glad I can run, just wish I looked as graceful as the children did. Well, there were prizes for everyone and my sunscreen worked.

We returned home to laze away the remainder of the day, and find tinges of surprise as we recovered. Interesting muscles used in the tug of war. I had a full glass of wine, three Aspirin and went to sleep on a heated mattress. I woke early, went on another early morning jog before church - being a rest day I kept the pace down, and came in at one hour and ten minutes. Good start for the day.

It is the end of the day, I have the lap top open and working, and I am typing this on it. The camera, has a memory card and battery problem - I will keep working the issue. Tuesday I start looking for my motorcycle's movement.

Four hours, the 4th, Independence...

Yes, I still play FarmVille but only because I know some real people still playing and I wish them well, but I don't want to bother facebook much, so I don't always post rewards, although that could help those that I am hoping do well - in the virtual world. I am really pretty happy with my original farm, suits me well, the English one is still a work in progress and I can wait.

I jumped into Empire & Allies for a chance to blow things up and the redhead with the eyepatch was fetching... So during daylight I live on a four hour cycle of production of food stuffs, oil, lumber and mining. I try to have all the types of forces, in balance and build my nation. But I can BUY members for government staff or my friends can fill the voids, once the government is staffed I can build more housing units and population can grow. In four hours I can earn for breathing that long, 48 energy units, which will help me gather my rents and production, including more Navy, AirForce and Army units, then (if I have enough Allies that I don't have to buy) I can attack the DARK Forces of EVIL. If I build, win and am nice I will progress to higher and higher levels of building my Empire. Which I call Earl's Protectorate, yeah, Cromwell and I have an elevated view of our duty.

So after starting my morning properly, the computer warmed up I visit to gather first from the government buildings (biggest cash payout) then the farms (cash crops), look to all my allies for information on if they are being attacked (one can attack one's allies - but it is a blackhearted thing to do), go help defend them or visit them for the five collections you can do once a day. If you get on everyone's staff in government, you can collect good stuff and can pick up ores you need if they are running their mines - you get only five collections on your allies per day.

If I had lots of friends on facebook and they were my allies I could really build an EMPIRE! I have told you that I don't do groups well, haven't I? If I have some allies that I haven't taken with me to combat for the day I can drag one to three along for fighting the DARK FORCES and liberation of an oppressed people somewhere (looks like little islands in the sea).

Like all the games on facebook, they are out to make the player happy and earn money for doing it. They count on people that like people, have friends to invite, and keep the games challenging but easy enough. I like seeing how my allies build their cities and serving on their staffs for the position and gains! Visiting once every four hours to play and build, fight and sigh... but it is a virtual world and not very real at all.

I will work harder on the reality of me, in the physical world, have to call for more better pills to replace those parts of my body not working as well as it did long ago when I didn't think about it... I am about one sixth of the way down in weight loss... trust me, a long way to go, but there is measurable progress. Since most people are going to celebrate Canada Day today, or Independence Day on Monday I should get Old Glory out, and remember some of those places I have helped her fly, proudly. Have a great weekend, and Do READ the reasons we separated from the CROWN.

Reading it makes me realize that maybe current high school graduates may need help understanding the language - it isn't text.
